Right At Home Daycare was one of the few childcare centers in Hunterdon County to be certified as an EMERGENCY CHILD CARE CENTER at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been open throughout this health crisis, serving ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL families and currently welcoming back our general population! We are following the State of New Jersey GUIDANCE FOR NEW JERSEY CHILD CARE FACILITIES ON COVID-19 RELATED HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. The guidelines include group distancing, use of hand sanitizer and repeated hand washing, constant disinfection and sanitization of frequently used surfaces, including but not limited to counter tops, tables, chairs, toys and bathrooms. We are adhering to social distancing to the extent possible when working with children! Though Right At Home Daycare has always welcomed family members and tours in our facility, by State mandate, only staff and Emergency Personnel are allowed to enter our building at this time. Children are temped at drop-off under our outdoor temping tent and families are screened daily regarding their health status.  At RAHD our temperature benchmark is “99 degrees and up: send ‘em home for the day.” Pick-up is designed, based on State guidelines, to foster social distancing as well as child safety!

Through the Summer of 2020, RAHD will be operating on a temporary adjusted time schedule: We will be opening at 8:00AM and closing at 5:30PM Monday through Friday.  As of September 2020, our hours of operation will expand to opening at 7:30AM and closing at 6:00PM daily, Monday through Friday.   

RAHD takes the responsibility of keeping our building clear and our children and staff safe very seriously as we all continue to navigate our way out of this global health crisis.
